Chapter 12. Paper and Web Capture > Setting Capture Preferences

Setting Capture Preferences

As Capture converts text from images into editable text, it needs to know what sort of language and alphabet it should be looking for. You can choose the language in the Preferences dialog box. You can also decide how fine you want the resolution of downsampled images and choose what style the output should be.

To change Paper Capture preferences:

1.
Choose Paper Capture from the Tools menu.

The Paper Capture Plug-In dialog box appears.

2.
Click the Preferences button (Figure 12.13).

Figure 12.13. Click Preferences to open the Preferences dialog box with the Paper Capture option selected.

The Preferences dialog box opens, with the Paper Capture option selected (Figure 12.14).

Figure 12.14. Set any of the Paper Capture preferences, then click OK to make them active.

3.
From the pop-up menus, make choices to specify the language that Capture should look for, the output style, and the resolution of downsampled images.

4.
Click OK.
