Chapter 4. Creating PDFs > Changing Font Locations

Changing Font Locations

Acrobat Distiller looks for fonts in the standard font folder or directory of your computer. If you're using font-management software such as ATM Deluxe, your fonts may reside in several locations. In this case, you'll have to specify these locations so that Distiller knows where to find the fonts.

To change Distiller font locations:

1.
Choose Font Locations from the Settings menu (Ctrl+L/Command-L).

The Font Locations dialog box appears (Figure 4.20).

2.
Remove any incorrect font location by selecting it and clicking the Remove button.

3.
Add an unlisted folder to the Font Locations list by clicking the Add button and then selecting the folder you want to add.

The added folder appears in the Font Locations list.
