Other Help Menu Items

Although one could argue that these aren't Help in the strictest sense of the word, it's undeniable that one-click connections to information about plug-ins and JavaScript, and online registration are wonderful features.

Adobe Online

Choosing Adobe Online from the Help menu takes you to the Adobe Online dialog box (Figure A.13). In this dialog box, you can check for updates and new add-ons for Acrobat, and also change your Adobe Online preferences. Clicking Go Online takes you directly to the Acrobat 5 main page on Adobe's Web site. Clicking the Preferences button launches the Adobe Online Preferences dialog box (Figure A.14). When you click the Updates button, Acrobat contacts Adobe's Web site automatically to see whether newer versions of any component of Acrobat are available (Figure A.15).
