Lesson 5. Putting Documents Online > Setting an opening view

Setting an opening view

You can set the opening view of a PDF document for your user, including the opening page number and magnification level, and whether bookmarks, thumbnails, the toolbar, and the menu bar are displayed. You can change any of these settings to control how the document displays when it is opened.

In this section, you'll set the opening view to display the bookmarks automatically so the user is sure to find them, and you'll set the view to Fit in Window.
