Working with 3D Charts

For a really cool effect, make your chart appear to stand apart from the page.

1.
Click the chart to make it active, if necessary.

From the Chart menu choose 3-D View (Figure 20.35).

In the 3-D View dialog box, click the large arrows to change elevation to change the angle on the vertical plane. Click the rotation axes to change the angle on the horizontal plane (Figure 20.36).

Notice the effect of the elevation and rotation changes in the preview window that appears in the 3-D View dialog box next to the arrows.

If you want to change the depth of the perspective, deselect Right angle axes and click the perspective arrows that appear (Figure 20.37).
