Chapter 13. Using Multiple Worksheets > Viewing Multiple Sheets

Viewing Multiple Sheets

Sometimes you may want to view the contents of multiple sheets at once. You do this by opening each sheet in a separate window and arranging the windows so that you can see them all at once.

To view multiple sheets at once:

1.
Choose Window > New Window (Figure 13.3).

Figure 13.3. Choose Window > New Window.

2.
When the window opens, click the tab of the sheet you want to open.

The names of all open windows appear in the bottom of the Window menu. If you haven't renamed your sheets yet, they'll just show as Sheet1, Sheet2, Sheet3, and so on.

3.
Choose Window > Arrange (Figure 13.4).

Figure 13.4. Choose Window > Arrange

4.
In the Arrange Windows dialog box, choose from the Arrange options (Figure 13.5).

Figure 13.5. Choose Arrange > Windows.

Figure 13.6 shows the Tiled arrangement; Figure 13.7 shows the Cascade arrangement.
