Adding Transition Effects

Transition effects add fancy cuts between slides. PowerPoint can add such effects as dissolves, splits, and wipes to bring each new slide into view. Select QuickTime transitions for choices like explode, implode, and zoom.

1.
Click the Slide Sorter View button (Figure 22.11).

Click the slide to which you want to apply the transition effect.

Click the button next to the Transition Effects pull-down menu on the Slide Sorter toolbar, and select an effect from the menu (Figure 22.12).

Click the Slide Transition button on the Slide Sorter toolbar . In the Slide Transition dialog box that appears, choose Effect, Advance, and Sound options (Figure 22.13).
