Entering Data

If you already have a table structured, then you're ready to add information to it.

To enter data:

1.
Click in a cell, and then type to insert data into the cell (Figure 7.6).

As you type, the text wraps within the cell, and the entire row will become taller if it needs to accommodate multiple lines of text.

2.
After filling in the first cell, press to move to the cell to the right, and type text in that cell (Figure 7.7).

3.
Continue filling in cells and pressing to move to the next cell.

When you finish the last cell of the table, press to create a new row if you wish (Figure 7.8).
