Applying a Template

PowerPoint comes with built-in templates that include predesigned formats and color schemes. Applying a specific template to a presentation gives it a particular look that you can easily copy to other presentations. By applying a template, you can instantly change the format of the text, add background items to each slide, and adjust the colors used in the presentation. PowerPoint includes more than a dozen professionally designed templates.

Figure 12.31 shows a slide before applying a template; Figure 12.32 shows the same slide after applying a template.
