Suggested Answer to Practice Activity, page 49

Q1:It is your turn to practice the mapping technique. Following are the beginnings of two maps.

Map 1—Cancel order: When a customer cancels an order that is already in the mail, what information might you, as the vendor, include in a return e-mail? Write each piece of information on a line coming out from the middle circle. Add lines if you would include more information.

Map 2—Office party: What information might you include in an e-mail invitation to an office party? Write each piece of information on a line coming out from the middle circle. Add lines if you would include more information.
