MANAGING THE BARRAGE OF E-MAIL REQUIRES USING A SYSTEM

Just as you organize your file cabinet with your paper folders and files, you should manage your e-mails. Remember, you can accumulate piles of papers on your desk and in you office, and you can accumulate piles of electronic data on your computer and network.

If you never filed your papers systematically, you would have so much clutter, disorganization, and disarray you might create physical hazards and feel trapped, disoriented, and overwhelmed.
