E-MAIL IS A GOOD WAY TO COMMUNICATE—SOMETIMES

E-mail is a great way to share information. It is best used at work when:

  • Messages have to go to a lot of people quickly.

  • Someone cannot be reached by phone.

  • Fast turnaround is required.

  • The communicators are at different locations and may be in different time zones.

  • The users want a written record or threaded conversation kept for a knowledge base or electronic “paper trail.”
