Chapter 11. Working with Graphics and Ob... > Using Graphics and Objects in Calc

Using Graphics and Objects in Calc

Calc spreadsheets certainly don't have to consist of only a seemingly endless array of numbers in columns and rows. As you've already seen in Chapter 10, data can be charted to provide a visual representation of all those values. You can also add graphics and other objects to your Calc spreadsheets.

You can use graphics found in the StarOffice Gallery, or you can create your own graphics using the Image Editor. You can also take advantage of scanned images or images from a digital camera. Calc and the other StarOffice applications will recognize just about any image file type that you can throw at them.
