In this chapter:
Setting a good example for the rest of your family
Finding time for the adults
Making sure your family's schedule is balanced
You've probably heard the adage “Do as I say, not as I do.” This chapter is meant as a reality check to make sure that you haven't been busy organizing everyone else's schedule while somehow keeping yourself outside of the peace you've been creating. Because you're an adult who feels a duty to nurture and provide for your family, it's only natural that you would put yourself last. But, in the end, this approach is counterproductive: You'll ultimately set a poor example; plus, you'll be too cranky and tired to do a very good job of taking care of your family. So, in this chapter, we'll have a little refresher course to help the adults in the family reduce their stress and improve their lives by organizing their own schedules.
