Determining the Color Mode

The first step in the Illustrator workflow is typically creating a new document. After you select File, New or press Cmd+N [Ctrl+N] , you are presented with a dialog box. In that dialog box (shown in Figure 12.13), you have the option to name the file, select its size, and determine whether it will be CMYK or RGB. (This decision doesn’t have to be final. You can change your mind by choosing File, Document Color Mode.)
