Brush Patterns

A brush pattern is actually a series of patterns combined into one brush. Unlike a fill pattern, a brush pattern must be able to rotate itself around corners and adapt to curves. To create such a pattern, you must actually create the individual parts that serve as the outer and inner corners. See Figure 13.7 for the difference between these two types of corners. If the brush pattern is to be used with open paths, start and end tiles must also be created.
