Using the Action Tool

The Action tool allows you to assign a Flash action to an object so that the user can use the object to navigate to another page in your Flash movie. To use the tool, you drag from the navigation object to the page you want the object to jump to when the user clicks the object. FreeHand assigns a default action of Go to Page X and Stop. You can modify the action using the Navigation panel.

Note

The programming language in Flash is called ActionScript. A Flash action in FreeHand refers to the basic Flash scripting commands that you can add to your documents.
