Stroke Commands, Filters, and Effects

Some commands in Illustrator's menus are specially designed for working with strokes. For instance, you can convert strokes to filled objects, apply arrowheads, or use special effects for strokes.

Converting Strokes to Outlines

Strokes sometimes don't get the respect that fills have in Illustrator. In fact, some of Illustrator's functions are downright antagonistic to strokes and brushes.
