Chapter 24. Printing Your Illustrations > Unusual Printing Considerations

Unusual Printing Considerations

So much for the huge array of printing options that are crammed into the major printing dialog boxes. Although these options are very important—some clearly more important than others—you'll spend most of your time pressing Ctrl+P (Cmd-P on a Mac), hitting the Enter key (Return on a Mac), and going off to get some coffee.

Unfortunately, things don't always go according to plan. Sometimes you have to spend a few minutes massaging your illustration to get it ready to deliver the most ideal results in less-than-ideal conditions. Most problems can be overcome using the options that I've already described, but others can't. Those that can't are the subject of the remaining pages in this chapter.
