Working with Video

Ah, television. Swooping logos, text zooming in and out. With all of this motion, you'd think a fixed-resolution bitmap would be clunky to work with, and you'd be right. Illustrator is ideal for today's constantly moving video graphics because vectors are more flexible than bitmaps.

Adobe also happens to make Premiere and After Effects, two of the dominant video-editing programs for personal computers. By now you might guess that there's more to Illustrator's relationship with these programs than would be obvious at first glance.
