How it all shapes up

An object's contour can be reshaped by moving its anchor points or segments or by converting its curve anchor points into corner anchor points (or vice versa). A curve segment can be reshaped by rotating, lengthening, or shortening its direction lines. Since it's so easy to reshape a path, you can draw a simple shape first and then develop it into a more complicated form later on.
