Chapter 9. Fill & Stroke

In this chapter you will learn to fill the inside or stroke the edge of an object with a solid color or pattern and choose stroke attributes like dashes and joins. You'll learn how to change a document's color mode and choose colors for print or Web output. You'll learn to save, copy, edit, replace, delete, merge, move, and duplicate color swatches. You'll learn to select objects for recoloring; globally replace or edit a color; apply fill and stroke colors simultaneously using the Paint Bucket tool; sample colors using the Eyedropper tool; and blend fill colors between objects. You'll also learn to invert, adjust, convert, and saturate/desaturate colors. Finally, you'll learn how to create and modify fill patterns.
