Chapter 17. Combine Paths

Chapter 17. Combine Paths

In this chapter, first you will learn about the shape mode commands, which create editable compound shapes. Second, you will learn about the pathfinder commands, which form a new, flattened, closed object or compound path by dividing, merging, cropping, outlining, etc. Then finally you will learn how to join two or more objects into a compound path; add objects to a compound path; reverse an object's fill in a compound path; and release a compound path.
