Chapter 8. WORKING WITH PATHS > Copying and Duplicating Objects

Copying and Duplicating Objects

One of the conveniences of working in a computer graphics application is that you can make infinite copies of objects.

To copy and paste an object on a page:

1.
Select the object (or objects) that you want to copy.

2.
Choose Edit > Copy. This copies the object to the clipboard.

3.
If desired, move to a new position on the page, a new page, or a new document.

4.
Choose Edit > Paste. A duplicate of the object appears in the middle of the window.
