Chapter 26. RASTER IMAGES

As mentioned earlier, almost all the objects in Macromedia FreeHand are vector objects. However, the other type of object is called a raster or pixel-based object.

Raster images are usually scanned photos or graphics from programs such as Corel Painter or Adobe Photoshop. These images can then be imported into a FreeHand document where you can add vector shapes and type to the raster image.
