Setting up a color-matching strategy

In a typical design and production workflow, color images are passed from input or digital capture devices to multiple applications and to the monitor for display purposes. From here, the electronic document can be printed or imaged to a variety of media. Without any color management in place, it can be impossible to predict the color integrity of the final images as they are scanned, displayed on-screen, and printed.

Setting up a color-matching strategy in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is typically a three-part process.
