Setting the layer transparency display to white

When working with layers, you’ll get more flexibility by cutting each element from its background and placing it on a transparent layer. To replicate the image’s appearance when the composite is flattened, you can simply change the transparency display from the default checkerboard to white.

1.
Choose Edit > Preferences > Transparency & Gamut.

2.
For the Grid Size transparency setting, choose None. The effects of this change are immediate. Click OK.
