Lesson 9. Using Appearance Attributes, Styles, and Effects

Appearance attributes are properties of an object—such as fills, strokes, transparency, effects, blending modes, or any combination of these—that affect its look without changing its structure. You can alter or remove appearance attributes at any time. You can also save them as styles and apply them to other objects. You can edit an object that has a style applied to it at any time, plus edit the style—an enormous time-saver.
