The Pan Tool

The Pan Tool is used to move a drawing within the drawing window.

To use the Pan Tool:

1.
Click the small arrow at the bottom right of the Zoom Tool to access the fly-out (Figure 19).

Click the Pan Tool to select it. Notice that the Pan Tool takes the place of the Zoom Tool in the Toolbox when it is selected (Figure 20). The mouse pointer will change to a hand.

Figure 20. Once you've selected the Pan Tool, it appears in the Toolbox. To get the Zoom Tool back in that position, just select it from the fly-out.


3.
Position the Pan Tool over the drawing window (Figure 21).

Press the left mouse button and drag. The drawing will move within the drawing window (Figure 22).
