Sharing a Folder on Your Windows XP Computer

When you share a folder, you are giving all other computers on the network access to that folder. This is very handy if, for example, one computer stores a collection of pictures or digital music, and everyone on your network needs access to it.

In this exercise, you have already set up a home network with one Windows XP computer and several Windows 98 Second Edition computers. You will now create a new folder on your hard disk, share that folder on the network, and then view the folder on another computer on your home network complete the following steps:
