Using Windows Messenger to Share Applications

Have you ever collaborated with someone on a project in which you had two computers but only one copy of a particular program to work with? Or have you tried to explain what was happening with a program to a person seated at a computer somewhere else? With the Application Sharing feature in Windows Messenger, you can share applications over the network so that you and a friend or associate can work collaboratively on projects even if you are in different locations.

In this exercise, you and your spouse are working on separate Windows XP computers in different rooms in your house. You’re playing the game Minesweeper, and you would like some advice from your spouse. Rather than try to explain the situation, you decide to use the Application Sharing feature of Windows Messenger to allow your spouse to see the program and to temporarily control the program. Complete the following steps:
