Tying It Up and Locking It Down

Building a wireless network is both useful and fun (and as you've seen, not particularly hard), but there's a fly, not in the ointment, but potentially sitting on the wall, listening to everything that goes across the network. That's right, wireless networks have some security problems, and although many people don't need to worry about them much at all, if you have sensitive data traversing your network, you should take security precautions to keep miscreants from snooping through your wireless network traffic. That's where we turn our attention in the next chapter.
