MusicMatch JukeBox Recording and Converting Options

Before you rip an audio CD, you should first set the recording options in MusicMatch Jukebox to the encoding format and settings you want.

Setting Recording Options

MusicMatch Jukebox offers numerous recording options for fine-tuning the CD ripping process. To change your recording options, choose Options>Settings>Recorder, which displays the Recorder Settings window as shown in Figure 4.7. When you first use the program, the MP3 recording format is chosen by default, offering various quality options. You can change the recording format to mp3PRO, WAV, Windows Media, and other formats associated with third-party plug-in software for MusicMatch Jukebox.
