10.8. Executive Tip Summary

  • Take the time to learn about each of your Doc reader's scrolling features, which are more complete than in any other word processor—you can scroll a line at a time or a page at a time; only when you tap or only when you press the PalmPilot's scroll buttons; continuously as you hold the stylus down; faster or slower depending on how far you are from the middle of the screen; or even automatically in teleprompter mode.

  • The Web, and this book's CD, are filled with great works of ancient fiction. You can download modern works, too, but you'll have to pay for them.

  • When preparing your own text for use as Doc reader-ready material, use only capitals—no other formatting—for headings or emphasis. Use two Return-key presses to create a blank line between paragraphs. Use a standard two-letter code wherever you want a bookmark to appear—and place that code within <angle brackets> at the very end of the text.
