Chapter 7. Configuring an iPod to Suit Y... > Configuring Music Playback

Configuring Music Playback

Several of the iPod's settings relate to the way in which music plays. These include Shuffle, Repeat, Sound Check, and the Equalizer. If you only use an iPod shuffle, you can skip this chapter because none of its information is applicable to the shuffle.

note

In the opening paragraph, I included the word many because you won't learn about all the available settings in this chapter. Some are covered in the chapters related to the features controlled on the Settings menu, such as the Contacts setting, which is covered in Chapter 10, “Using the iPod's Calendar, Contact Manager, and Other Non-Music Tools.”
