Create an Email Signature

Email signatures are a common part of the email experience, and you can use them to automatically place contact information at the bottom of every message you send. Follow these steps to create an email signature in VersaMail:

1.
Press the Menu button, navigate over to the Options menu, and scroll down to select the Preferences command. The Preferences screen appears, as shown earlier in Figure 8.9.

Tap Signature in the Preferences screen to open the Signature screen (see Figure 8.17).

Figure 8.17. The Signature screen allows you to enable and specify a signature that's added to the end of each email message you send from your device.

You must first enable the signature feature by tapping the Attach Signature check box. After doing so, an edit box appears where you can enter text that you'd like to appear as your email signature. You'll likely enter your name, company name, and possibly an email address, phone number, and/or Web address. When you're finished entering the signature, tap the OK button to save it.

4.
Tap OK again in the Preferences screen to return to the main VersaMail screen.
