It’s a Slightly Anxious, Light-Seeking Robot!

That’s it! You’re done (see Figure 8.19). All you have to do now is connect the battery snap to the 9V battery, screw (or tape) the two mouse halves back together, put Mousey down on the floor, and switch it on. If it takes off like a bat outta hell, congratulations—you’ve turned your lowly computer mouse into an autonomous, light-seeking robo-critter. Read the following section, “Playing with Mousey,” for tips on terrorizing house pets and other cool things you can do with your new robot. If Mousey doesn’t move, or travels in circles, or goes forward, but doesn’t back up (or other frustrating misbehaviors), see the “Troubleshooting a Wayward Mousey” section later in this chapter.
