Share Mobile Movies

Make movies from the phone camera and share them on the Internet for all to enjoy!

Most Nokia camera phones are capable of recording short video clips. As such, they are like mini digital camcorders that you can carry anywhere with you. You can access the video recorder program on a Series 40 phone via the Media Camera Video menu. On a Series 60 phone, the video recorder program is typically the Video Rec program (e.g., on a Nokia 3650 or 6600 phone) or the Camera Video program (e.g., on a Nokia 7610 phone) under the Main menu. A Series 40 phone records video at a resolution of 128 x 96 pixels, and a Series 60 phone records at 172 x 144 pixels. Nokia phones typically record video with 16-bit (64k) color at 8–15 frames per second (fps). The video is encoded in the H.263 or MPEG-4 (a.k.a. H.264) codec and is saved in 3gpp format. You cannot change the color, fps, or codec settings for your Nokia phone’s default video recorder.
