MANAGE ZIPPED FILES

The Annoyance:

I'm using Windows 98 and rarely have to deal with zipped files, so I don't need to bother with third-party tools such as WinZip or FreeZip. But what do I do when the occasional zip file comes my way?

The Fix:

You could upgrade to Windows XP—it has a built-in zip extraction tool. But if you insist on sticking with Windows 98, use ExplorerPlus (a replacement for Windows Explorer) for all your zipping and unzipping needs; even the free version does a terrific job. With ExplorerPlus, there are two ways to do it:
