Chapter 10. Tasks > Mastering Tasks

Mastering Tasks

Use due dates, priority settings, and categories to accomplish more. Alarms and recurring tasks make it even easier to know when things are due. By adding new tasks to your to-do list as soon as they come up, you'll have the ultimate to-do list nearby at all times.

Real Life Tasks

Andy is an artist who needs a steady supply of paints, brushes, and paper. He's created a category in Tasks called Art Supplies and made each art-supply item a task with no due date and a priority of 5. When a supply is running low, he changes the due date to the current week and the priority to 1. The task now appears on Calendar's Agenda View and at the top of his Tasks list. Once he gets the supplies, he changes the priority back to 5 and selects No Date.
