Adding a Contact Photo

Palm OS 5.2 provides the ability to associate a photo with a Contacts record (except for the Treo 600), either from your handheld's internal memory or a photo shot with the camera-enabled Zire 72.

To add an image to a contact

1.
Tap an item to open the Contact view, then tap the record or the Edit button to open the Contact Edit screen.

Tap the blank image icon, then tap one of the available photos from the Select Image screen (Figure 5.22).

If you have a Zire 72, choose Camera or Photos (which opens the Select Media screen) from the popup (Figure 5.23).

If you elect to shoot your own, the Camera application opens. Snap the pic by tapping the Shutter button, or tap Cancel (Figure 5.24).

Save the photo by tapping the floppy disk icon, or delete it by tapping the trash can.

Once chosen from Select Image/Media or saved from the camera, the image appears in the contact you were editing.
