Location

Ye olde Date Book, Calendar's predecessor, always provided the ability to remind yourself of where a meeting was to take place: Just attach a note. But Calendar has added the new Location field, which is more easily accessible than fishing for a note by tapping.

In the Event Details screen, simply write your meeting spot in the Location field (Figure 4.33). You'll see it appear at the end of the event's text in Day view, and in the floating window when you tap on an event block in Week view (Figure 4.34).

✓ Tips

  • Funnily enough, tapping on an event that's displaying a location in the Day view makes the location's text disappear.

  • Calendar remembers the locations you enter. Start writing a location you've used before, and the closest match appears highlighted in the field. Keep writing to narrow it down.
