Chapter 9. Word Processing > Styling the Document

Styling the Document

Word processing is not only about the words themselves but how they look on the page. There's formatting, line breaks, margins, graphics, and more to consider.

Formatting

Formatting means setting the fonts, point sizes, and styles (such as bold or italic) of selected characters. When you format an entire paragraph, you can also set other parameters, such as margins, indents, space before and after, leading, and tabs.
