The One-Two-Three Process for Building Web Pages

Most big Internet service providers (ISPs), such as America Online (AOL), CompuServe, EarthLink, Prodigy Internet, and even Apple Computer (as part of its iTools feature), give you several megabytes of free storage space for setting up a Web site. Such facilities, though not intended to help you establish a business site on the Web, are perfect for personal Web sites where you can share information with your family and friends—photos, news and views, and perhaps even your first attempt at an online newsletter.

In addition to giving you storage space, many of these services provide some sort of simplified online Web authoring tool that lets you create a simple Web page in just a few minutes.
