Project: Create Your Projects Folder

As you work on various projects throughout this book, you and your family may want a place to store them.

✓ Follow these steps to create a new Family Projects folder in the My Documents folder:

1.
From the Windows desktop, select Start, My Documents. The My Documents folder appears.

2.
Select File, New, Folder. A new folder appears at the bottom of the list. Note that the name of the folder is currently New Folder; this name is highlighted and ready for you to edit.

3.
Type the folder name Family Projects. When you click anywhere outside of the folder, the new name is saved.
