Surviving Without Documentation 144 Skipping Around with Hypertext Links No matter how you get into a program's help system, you need some way to get around in the system once you're there. Most help systems contain hypertext links, as shown in Figure 15.1, that let you jump from one topic to another. The hypertext link is a highlighted word, phrase, or picture that, once selected, displays a definition of or additional information concerning that word or phrase. You usu- ally have to click or double-click the hypertext link to display the additional information. Or you can tab to the link and press Enter.
