Backing Up for the Inevitable Crash · If you're running Windows 98 or Me, back up files using the Backup Wizard. · Every month or so, back up your entire system, including the Windows Registry. · After you perform a backup, restore one or more files from the backup files to a separate folder on your hard drive to make sure your backup files are not corrupt. 303 · If you accidentally erase a file permanently or lose a file during a system crash, use your backups to restore selected folders and files.
