Chapter 16. Use of Text > Exercise—You Try It

Exercise—You Try It

Imagine for this exercise you are chairing the Board of Directors of a non-profit organization that takes a stand about an issue you care deeply about. You have been asked to give a presentation to a group of twelve potential contributors. You will be using an overhead projector. You’ve decided to use a transparency to support your introduction. This section of your presentation is supposed to give your audience a basic understanding of the primary objectives of the organization.

Decide what words you would include on a single overhead transparency.
