The Objects Palette

The Objects palette contains all the draggable objects that you use to create content for your web pages and documents. The Objects palette is separated into 11 sections or categories, as shown in Figure 34.3. Each section contains objects for a specific purpose. For example, use the objects in the QuickTime Objects palette to create and edit QuickTime movies, or use the objects in the Form Objects palette to add form elements to your web page. You can access the different Objects palettes in a number of ways:

  • When the Objects palette is joined with the Tools palette, click the Object button at the top of the Objects palette to display a list of available palettes and then select the Objects you'd like to display (see Figure 34.4).

  • You can also display and select Objects palettes from the palette options menu of the Objects palette, as shown in Figure 34.5.

  • When the Objects palette is separated from the Tools palette, click the tabbed icons along the top of the palette to switch between Objects palettes.
