Inserting Text Boxes

You can insert two types of text boxes in a form, Text Box and Text Area. Text boxes ask for information and provide a field where a visitor can type an answer. Text boxes are used for collecting relatively small quantities of information, such as the visitor's online name. Text areas are small text windows best suited for brief text entries. This window scrolls vertically and horizontally to maximize its available space. They are ideal for use as guest books.

A text box or text area appears in the form with an insertion point next to it. You can click to place the insertion point before or after the text box.
